Pakistan Bomb Blast Kills 10 Labourers in Balochistan

At least ten labourers were killed on Friday in a Pakistan bomb blast after their vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device (IED) in Harnai district, Balochistan.

Senior government official Shahzad Zahri confirmed the attack, stating, “10 mine workers were killed in an attack in Harnai district.”

Another district official, Saleem Tareen, provided further details, explaining that the victims were traveling from their work site to the market when their car was targeted.

“It was an IED blast. We are investigating the attack,” Tareen told AFP.

Harnai, located approximately 160 kilometers (104 miles) from Quetta, has witnessed frequent violence in recent years. While no group has officially claimed responsibility for this Pakistan bomb blast, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has been known to carry out similar attacks, particularly targeting security forces and non-Baloch residents.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident as security concerns continue to rise in the region.
