Despite the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, there have been multiple violent incidents involving armed or masked Palestinians, according to an Israeli military spokesperson on Wednesday night.
In one incident, a man was reported dead, who the military identified as a member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
In other instances, soldiers discharged warning shots to keep masked individuals at bay, the spokesperson mentioned.
The army stated it is committed to following the ceasefire agreements while taking all necessary precautions to safeguard its soldiers from potential threats. It has encouraged Palestinians to avoid military forces.
According to the established agreements, Israeli soldiers pulled back their vehicles from Jabaliya in the northern Gaza Strip on Wednesday.
The military shared photographs displaying a convoy of tanks departing from the region near the border fence.
