Kansas saw eight deaths due to a severe dust storm that led to a 50-car pileup.

Texas experienced three fatalities due to car crashes amid dust storms.

Alabama reported two deaths, with tornadoes causing extensive damage across 52 counties.

Arkansas recorded three fatalities, with numerous injuries and a significant emergency response.

The National Weather Service reported 26 potential tornadoes contributing to these severe weather conditions. Authorities have urged residents to stay prepared and alert for emergency weather warnings as more severe weather is predicted to hit the East Coast, particularly the Carolinas and Virginia, with damaging winds, tornadoes, and heavy rain.
