Nigeria’s digital economy received a major boost as the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) deepened its collaboration with the government of Japan to drive digital innovation, talent development, and economic growth. The renewed partnership aims to enhance Nigeria’s digital capabilities through strategic investments in training, infrastructure, and technology transfer.
Under the leadership of Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, NITDA is leading efforts to transform Nigeria into a knowledge-based and innovation-driven economy. Through this collaboration, we are ensuring Nigerian talent is exposed to global best practices, especially in areas critical to the Fourth Industrial Revolution,” Inuwa said.
