Reports indicate that Kanye West (now known as Ye) and his wife, Bianca Censori, are set to divorce. According to entertainment website TMZ, the couple has separately sought legal advice regarding the split, and the Daily Mail reported that Censori has agreed to a $5 million payout.
The reports follow a period of controversy, including a viral red carpet appearance at the Grammy Awards, where Censori appeared semi-nude alongside her husband, which sparked concerns about coercion. West’s subsequent behavior, including a rant on X (formerly Twitter) where he referred to himself as a “Nazi” and claimed dominion over his wife, further fueled the tension.
West also faced backlash for selling T-shirts featuring a swastika on his Yeezy.com website, leading to the site being taken down by Shopify for violating terms of service.
Sources suggest that the swastika shirt incident was a breaking point for Censori, with one source telling the New York Post that she had enough and wanted no part in the circus surrounding West. However, Milo Yiannopoulos, who is reportedly a representative for the couple, denied the split, stating that they were together in Los Angeles and that any announcements about their private life would come directly from them.
West, who was previously married to Kim Kardashian, has four children with her from their 2022 divorce.
