The United States has released its 2025 Visa Waiver Program (VWP) list, excluding the United Kingdom, Nigeria, and all African countries. While the UK remains eligible under specific conditions, nations like Ghana and South Africa are not included.
A notable update in this year’s list is the inclusion of Romania. The US has also reinforced security checks and prioritized countries with strong diplomatic ties and border security measures.
The Visa Waiver Programme allows eligible citizens to visit the US for up to 90 days without obtaining a visa, provided they have an approved Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). The program simplifies business, tourism, and transit travel for millions worldwide.
